I bought this mirror because I was tired of the handlebar mirrors that (1) break when my bike falls over and (2) take my eyes off of the road in front of me. Initially, the price was hard for me to swallow, but having a handlebar mirror on each of my three bikes was more expensive than having one helmet mirror. Additionally, when I considered how many of $15 mirrors I have broken, if this mirror lasts even a few years, I will have saved money overall. What finally got me to take the plunge is the five year guarantee. If you break it, run over it with a bulldozer or are hit by a stray comet, simply send the remnants of your mirror back to EVT and he will send you a new one. EVT will even pay for the return shipping! Other things I like about the mirror: * It is easy to adjust - I have a different riding position for my road bike vs my commuter, the mirror easily adjusts to fit both riding stances. * It stays put - riding along the... I chose this for my road helmet over others out there for two main reasons. 1) It straps to your helmet rather than a permanent adhesive. This leaves you a variety of mounting points to try if you don't like the first one and when you get a new helmet it is an easy transfer. 2) Less important, but it looked more flexible for positioning. Both of these reasons have panned out well. It works very nicely and doesn't budge or vibrate at speed.
