Nowhere on the description does it say toddler but when I received the purchase, the box clearly states, toddler. Needless to say, the helmet is too small. Cute helmet though, I wish it fit. I first purchased the Giro due to all the great reviews and was so disappointed when I noticed that it was difficult to "fit" the helmet on my son. Pull the left side, right side straps, tighten this and that and it STILL didn't fit correctly. Not a good idea when your trying to fit this on a 15 month old whom does not have patience to sit there while mommy tries to adjust the helmet. Plus the head ring straps were held in by velcro. I returned that Giro helmet as I am all about safety first. The Bell Splash helmet has a "OneStep fit system" which is exactly what the product advertises and is the "perfect fit" with straps that are held by the actual helmet and NOT a head ring attached by velcro. Just tighten the chin strap, snap the buckle and your done! This is a safe helmet and also has cute blinking red lights on the back too... what a nice PLUS!!
